With many students and families celebrating Spring Break in the coming week, the Terre Haute Children's Museum is joining in the fun by offering special hours and activities.
On Friday, March 24, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Museum will host an "Art From Waste" Workshop. Learn how to convert trash to beautiful and useful treasures, and then enter to participate in the Art From Waste Contest by Rethink, Inc. Please bring some recyclables that you are interested in working with. Some recyclable materials will also be available for use. The workshop is included with Museum admission.
The Museum is usually closed on Mondays, but on Monday, March 27, the Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, on Monday, March 27, through Friday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, the Museum will partner with students from the Indiana State University Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology (CIMT) program to present a variety of hands-on science activities. The activities are included with Museum admission.

The Museum will resume regular hours on Tuesday, April 4.
The Terre Haute Children’s Museum is a nonprofit institution dedicated to enriching our children’s lives through the exploration of science and technology. The Museum, 727 Wabash Ave., is located at the corner of 8th Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute. Regular museum admission is $8 for kids and adults age 2 and over. Admission is free for Museum members and children under the age of 2. The Museum is also a proud member of the Access Pass Program. Through this program, families who participate in qualifying assistance programs can visit for just $2 per family member per visit.
